Throughout the year FBMS presents a series of teaching workshops featuring top notch instruction in lead and harmony vocals; guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, bass, & dobro; instrument set-up & maintenance; as well as clogging & old-time dance.

Ranging from 3-hour afternoon & evening sessions to weekend-long workshops with 12 hours of instruction time, we include something for all experience levels & often subsidize events in order to keep the cost of participation affordable. Instructors are chosen based on their abilities to teach effectively & relate well to their students. The general public is invited to attend.
