Foothills Bluegrass Music Society presents the Spring Square Dance featuring The Hip To Be Square Collective!

Join us at the Royal Canadian Legion No. 1 (116 7 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2G 0H5) in downtown Calgary on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Doors open at 7pm, the dance begins at 7:30.

Come down to the Legion this spring and learn to do-si-do, allemande, and promenade, all taught on the spot - no experience needed! Featuring live stringband music from the Hip to be Square Collective and a focus on fun and laughter over fancy footwork, this evening promises to be a high energy dance party where two left feet won't hold anyone back. No partner required, so rustle up a bunch of friends, or just bring yourself and your dancing shoes.

‍Please note that there is limited parking around the area. The Centre Street CTrain station is directly across from the Legion, making it a convenient transportation option for this event.
